»Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs Opening Event«: Sorry the Hedgehog & 505

We are happy to welcome you all to the Kulturbrauerei Berlin to celebrate the opening of this year’s edition of Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs. After a welcome address by the Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs team, Pop-Kultur curator Yeşim Duman and musician Krista Papista will explain how to get the most out of the programme so that you can be well on your way into the world of pop culture after the festival ends.

Setting the musical mood will be Sorry the Hedgehog, a fellow Nachwuchs participant, followed by 505.

Sorry the Hedgehog is the pet project of Berlin-based songwriter, producer, and DJ Eno Thiemann, having emerged as an outlet for his more dancefloor-oriented endeavours. Drawing inspiration from a palette of genres including nineties pop, funk, hip-hop, breakbeat, ambient, soul and drum ‘n’ bass, Sorry’s wildly colourful and organic arrangements have no regard for stylistic constraints.

505 is a duo consisting of Daniel Calvi and Mattia Prete, driven by their common passion for exploring different musical backgrounds. By collaborating with various renowned artists from Europe, they have created a fusion of jazz, trip-hop, and electronica that defines their distinctive sound.
